Gum disease affects HALF of all Americans; 64.7 million adults over 30 years old have periodontal disease. With statistics like this, the likelihood that you or someone you know has gum disease is very high. Periodontal disease can be a very serious health issue, and if someone suffering from this disease doesn’t regularly visit their dentist, then it can spiral out of control. Gum disease affects your overall health in many ways, a topic that Dr. Freeman will cover in great detail. She will even provide at-home remedies to improve your oral health and will tell you some of the most important but unknown facts about gum disease.
